Moves up to manage the Dodgers’ Single-A Columbus farm club in 2005 after piloting the Rookie-level Ogden club the past two seasons . . . guided the Raptors to the Pioneer League playoffs in 2003; his first campaign as a manager . . . spent the 2002 season as the hitting coach for Single-A South Georgia . . . his South Georgia club ranked tied for second in the South Atlantic League with a .269 team batting average . . .served as the Dodgers’ major league bullpen catcher from 1998-2001 . . . was signed by the Dodgers as a free agent in 1994 and played one season at Great Falls . . . spent two seasons (1996-97) as player-coach for Single-A Savannah . . . graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Biology in 1993 . . . also played at Spartanburg University . . . other coaching experience includes serving as the pitching and catching coach for the Cohuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod League (1995) . . . his grandfather Ray played one game for the Washington Senators in 1943.
